Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

SIMPLEJOBZ, LLC, trading as PMUHQ Studio, is the data controller for personal data we collect about our account holders (artists and studios) and about visitors to pmuhqstudio.com. Contact us at privacy@pmuhqstudio.com.

For the client records, photographs, and form responses that an artist enters into their studio account, the artist or studio is the controller and SIMPLEJOBZ, LLC acts as a processor on their instructions. If you are a client of a studio, please contact that studio about your records.

2. Personal data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, password credentials, studio name and address, logo) — to create and secure your account and provide the service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Studio content (client contact details, case and treatment notes, appointments, photographs, consent and intake form responses) — stored and processed to deliver the service. Legal basis: contract performance, and our legitimate interest in operating the platform.
• Communications data (support messages, emails and SMS sent through the service, IP address and timestamp recorded with electronic signatures) — to provide support and to evidence consent. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (log data, device and browser identifiers, IP address, pages viewed, error reports) — for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Billing data (subscription status, plan, invoice history) — to manage your subscription and meet legal and accounting obligations. Card details are collected and held by Paddle, not by us.
• Marketing data (email address, preferences) — to send product news where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

3. Who we share data with

• Service providers and subprocessors: cloud hosting and database providers, email and SMS delivery providers, error monitoring and analytics tooling.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as our lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect legal rights.
• An acquirer, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal data.

4. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. Retention

We keep account and studio content for as long as your account is active. After cancellation or suspension, data is retained for 90 days so you can export it or reactivate, then deleted or anonymised. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. Logs are typically kept for up to 12 months.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls that isolate each studio's data, least-privilege administrative access, and regular patching and monitoring.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. US state privacy laws may also give you the right to opt out of targeted advertising or profiling and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Email privacy@pmuhqstudio.com and we will respond within one month. UK and EEA residents may also complain to their local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences — these are required for the service to work. We use limited analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though sign-in will not work without essential cookies.

9. Children

PMUHQ Studio is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18.

We will post updates to this notice here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
